Multiplayer, party size, and solo

The quest squad holds up to four. Barracks capacity is a separate hub limit, lowered to 25 in First Fixes. Players report private barracks and quest worlds, while explicitly distinguishing solo from offline play.

Parties, private worlds, and hub capacity

The launch FAQ describes playing alone or in a squad of up to four. In the solo discussion, Jim reports private barracks and quest worlds; SimLec adds that this is not offline play.

First Fixes lowers barracks capacity from 32 to 25 and says dedicated barracks servers were still off most of the time during testing. This does not provide a Town Square restoration time or a guarantee that invitations always work.

What I checked

The guide separates the supported party size from dated hub operations. A private-world reply does not prove that every quest or puzzle has been cleared solo.

Questions

Can I play alone?

The launch FAQ allows solo play, and players describe private quest worlds. Online connectivity is still required; this does not prove every puzzle is soloable.

Does the hub capacity increase quest party size?

No. The patch explicitly changes barracks capacity; the supported squad size remains a separate figure.

Official identifies the publisher, not independent corroboration. Unless a specific claim cites two independent sources, each attributed figure or report is a single-source observation. Different pages from one publisher are one source.
