Weapon upgrades

Use the Blacksmith for equipment upgrades. In one official screenshot, the selected output is Dark Knight Greatsword +1; it consumes one Dark Knight Greatsword, gems, Lesser Void Essence, and Iron Ore. Every quantity below is Single source (official screenshot), checked 2026-10-28.

One selected upgrade: inputs and output

The header says Training Greatsword, identifying the open tree context. The selected preview on the right is Dark Knight Greatsword +1. Its requirements list Dark Knight Greatsword without +1. The existing Forge Lv.2 satisfies the displayed minimum Forge Lv.1; these are not two names for the selected node.

Equipment upgrades and character points

The Steam achievement Holy Diver explicitly places weapon upgrading at the Blacksmith. The Demo Now Live announcement lists Blacksmith and Upgrade Knight as separate menus.

The September leveling note assigns skill points to the Knight Trainer. In the Steam Deck discussion, developer coty assigns stat points to the Upgrade Knight in the barracks (Single source: developer reply). The pre-launch note adds RESPEC to the knight upgrade menu, with increasing cost per use. That describes character points; it does not establish weapon-tree refunds or the relationship between the two NPC names.

Where do I upgrade weapons?

At the Blacksmith. Upgrade Knight is the character-point menu in the cited developer reply.

Do I need a Dark Knight Greatsword +1 as an ingredient?

The screenshot lists one Dark Knight Greatsword without +1 as the input. Dark Knight Greatsword +1 is the selected result.

Does every upgrade cost 275 gems?

No. Single source: 275 gems belongs only to the selected upgrade in this screenshot.
