Single source: Steam user Jim recommends killing the Void Knight for Iron Ore and calls it fastest. The official upgrade screenshot separately requires 10 Iron Ore for the selected Dark Knight Greatsword +1 result. Neither source establishes a guaranteed drop or a tested fastest route.

The documented upgrade use

Single source: the official screenshot shows Iron Ore 0/10, meaning ten required and none owned. The selected output is Dark Knight Greatsword +1, with one base Dark Knight Greatsword as a separate input. Forge Lv.2 is the character's current forge level; the selected upgrade requires Forge Lv.1. Checked 2026-10-28.

The farming claim and the video lead

Single source: Jim's reply in How to get iron ore? recommends the Void Knight. No run timing, yield sample, drop rate, or exclusive-source claim accompanies it. Fastest is that player's assessment.

Try Harder Gaming's video title calls its run an iron-ore farm and names Basset Boss. The previously reviewed frames around 01:35-01:43 show the Warlock Rock area, without a clearly labeled Iron Ore pickup. The video is a viewing lead, not independent confirmation that Basset drops ore.

What I checked

A material-use screenshot and a farming recommendation answer different questions. The Basset video title is retained as a lead, without treating its title as proof of a pickup or drop table.

Is Void Knight the only Iron Ore source?

Jim does not say it is the only source. His recommendation is a single-player report without a drop table.

Does the Basset video prove Basset drops Iron Ore?

Its title suggests a farming run, but the reviewed frames do not establish a labeled pickup or a boss drop. It should not be counted as a second confirmation.

Which upgrade needs ten Iron Ore?

Single source: the official screenshot shows ten for the selected Dark Knight Greatsword +1 result, not a general cost for all Training Greatsword upgrades.
