Boss objectives and other named enemies

Void Knight and Bonehead are tied to readable quest objectives. Basset is called a boss in community footage. King Crab is named in an official addition note. Giga Slyme and Daze Bandits should not become bosses just because they appear in combat screenshots.

Boss names and evidence strength

Names below do not establish a complete boss roster or loot table. Single source labels apply to the specific claim in each row.

Named enemies are not automatically bosses

The official Giga Slyme screenshot names an enemy and a juice-collection objective. The Final Playtest Patch describes Giga Slyme producing Mini Slyme. Neither establishes its boss or elite classification. Daze Bandits appear in quests and screenshots without proof that the whole enemy group is a boss.

The September patch explicitly adds Elite variants of bandits. That supports a bandit elite category, without proving that every Daze Bandit or a particular screenshot is an elite.

Iron Ore is an attributed farming report

Single source: Jim recommends Void Knight for Iron Ore in a Steam reply. It gives no loot table or guaranteed drop. A Stone Archers strategy from another discussion is not evidence for Void Knight mechanics.

What I checked

The list separates a boss objective from a named enemy. Combat footage is offered for inspection without inventing attack cycles, weaknesses, damage numbers, or guaranteed drops.

How do I beat Void Knight?

Is Giga Slyme a boss?

The reviewed screenshot and patch note establish an enemy name and behavior, not a boss or elite classification.
