Xbox and Game Pass

It is a Game Preview title on Xbox Series X|S, included with Game Pass from day one, and marked Play Anywhere. Cloud and a Handheld row are on the store page. The US price checked at US$12.99 with a zero percent discount.

What the labels mean

Game Preview is Xbox’s early-access equivalent. Play Anywhere means the Microsoft Store purchase is tied across the Xbox devices that program supports. Cloud play needs Game Pass. A Handheld label here is the Xbox app and cloud, not a confirmed native handheld build.

What I checked

I read the Xbox Wire essay for the Game Pass sentence and the store feature list for Play Anywhere. I did not expand “Game Pass” into a specific tier, because the page I saw did not name Core, Standard, or Ultimate one by one.

Questions

Which Game Pass plan?

The store marks a Game Pass requirement. The exact tier list was not on the page we read, so it is not repeated here.

Is the Xbox copy also 25 percent off?

Not in the October 28 research check. That discount was on Steam.

Sources

Official identifies the publisher, not independent corroboration. Unless a specific claim cites two independent sources, each attributed figure or report is a single-source observation. Different pages from one publisher are one source.
