What players said was strong

No comparable weapon test in the reviewed sources establishes a universal best weapon. Malkavia recommends trying bone greatswords and Stone Greataxe in one Steam discussion. The quoted Stone Greataxe damage is a Single source player report, not DPS.

What the Steam discussion actually compares

Single source: Malkavia asks whether the other player used Training Greatsword +3, then suggests bone greatswords and a greataxe. Malkavia reports 61 damage for Stone Greataxe and says fighting Basset or Void Knight with it is manageable. The reply does not supply matching upgrade levels, attack timings, enemy defenses, or a test log.

Valhalla Awaits says they had used the wooden +3 weapon, farmed skeletons for a bone option, and later moved to iron. That is a progression anecdote in the same discussion, not a second controlled comparison.

Use the upgrade screen to plan costs
