Is there a class system?
The reviewed store and patch notes describe equipment and point progression rather than a published class roster. The leveling note names the Knight Trainer; developer coty places stat points at the Upgrade Knight in the barracks.
What each progression source says
The September leveling announcement awards EXP for defeated mobs and completed quests, with one skill point per level spent at the Knight Trainer (Single source: official announcement for that rule).
Developer coty says to spend stat points at the Upgrade Knight in the barracks (Single source: developer reply). The sources do not explain whether Knight Trainer and Upgrade Knight are renamed or distinct NPCs.
The pre-launch note adds RESPEC to the knight upgrade menu with a cost that increases per use. It does not describe a weapon-tree reset.
What a useful build comparison needs
A weapon preference can help you choose what to investigate. To compare builds, sources would need to state equipment, upgrade levels, point allocation, and encounter conditions. The reviewed discussion does not provide those conditions, so its recommendations remain individual opinions.

What I checked
This page follows the terms used by each source. It does not infer two separate trainers or rename character-point progression as a weapon upgrade.
Questions
What class should I pick?
The reviewed official material does not provide a selectable class roster. Use the documented equipment and point systems rather than an invented class list.
Can I respec?
The pre-launch patch adds RESPEC to the knight upgrade menu and says the cost rises each use. It gives no fixed cost in the cited text.
